Traveling - Postponement of release for Chapter 15

I am currently traveling, which might put a slight delay on the release of Chapter 15 to tomorrow along with the Royal Road scheduled release.

Random Musings of being unable to sleep

 

I've been somewhat active over on the forums at RoyalRoad, and one interesting question caused me to wax poetic about having "...your story hijack your brain."

 Yep. I've indeed been stuck unable to sleep many a night as I work through a plotline. 
Particularly I can't let go of the feeling of losing someone special if you end up having to fate a character to a death (uh...ignore this if you don't like foreshadowing), but in this particular statement, it's about another series already partially being penned.

    My lips drink the dew of a muted dawn.
    My ears? Taste, in regard, the stillness of a dying wind as my legs lie parallel, held buoyant against my very will to be denied entry upon the planes of limbo.
    Her skin, cold and waxen in the cadaverous rays of a delinquent dawn, are all I sense. My consciousness caressing her being in sorrowful witness, seeking approach for a direction undeterred on a path undecided of fated tragedy. Now...she is gone
    The story lives on, but she is gone.
    Perhaps not from moments aught observed, but in a future, come to past and present; Seen a thousand...nay...million times more in endless repetition as words become thoughts, and thoughts become vision. 
    I remain slumber-less as a new day rapidly approaches to harken the wails of new pain, and yet...buzzing euphoria of an endless joy. What curses be these upon we, who's mantle were given, gifted, or bestowed the title of Author?
    I wish it not, but dread its absence if it were otherwise. 

 

Readers, you can entirely ignore these weird musings...commence with your normal operations!
New chapter still incoming on Friday (unless there is something weird going on).

Chapter 13 Live!

The problem with accidentally erasing a chapter, is you've got to dig through backups to recreate that chapter.

One one side: Thank goodness for backups!

On the other: "What the heck happened where I erased an ENTIRE CHAPTER?!:
