Chapter 41 now live!

Whelp! Turns out this is STILL not the final chapter (making final, final chapter announcements like Attack on Titan!)

Enjoy!

Author note: Modifications have been made since the first posting. If something seemed off, please read again if you feel like! (sorry!)

Writing Prompt: A Wandering Soul

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_YSt6X5-ZU

I scribble in this notebook because I have no destination. No plan, nor the possibility of a chance to choose.

The rays of a new sun crests the fluffy clouds of a blue expanse. Every day has been met with uncertainty.

A present wrapped in mystery, tied by the golden thread of wonder.
New people, new places.
Flavors I've never tasted, scents I've never known.
Stories for me to listen to and tell.

The horizon draws near, only a finger's breadth from my eyes.

Twilight is coming. Perhaps Soon.
Maybe it will be beautiful.
With all my heart.
I hope.

Shall the new shore be good to me too?
Will you meet me again, under a kissing moon?
I shall wait, till the pillars of salt become tears to fill the ocean we cross beyond golden years.

Farewell, and til we meet again, My Aphrodite.

- A Wandering Soul

Chapter 40 now live!

 Okay.

So I have to apologize. Turns out Chapter 40 is NOT the last chapter, it was in fact supposed to BE a  +6000 major chapter, but my schedule made it impossible to edit it all in time for release (even with the delay.)

As a result, this is the NEXT to last chapter. Stay tuned for at least one more chapter and an interesting Epilogue which might be telling of some future developments.

Till then?

Chapter 40 - Delay!

AUTHOR NOTE: Release for Chapter 40 will be delayed approximately one week.

The next planned release shall be Saturday, September 13th, 2025. Many apologies. Travel and other events have caused an unfortunate delay. As a heads up, Chapter 40 is planned as the final chapter of Book 1 of the Price Check Trilogy.

Thank you all so much for reading!
